Railroad Ink is a compact, family friendly game in which players connect as many railway and road exit on their board as possible. In each round of this “roll and write” game, dice are rolled to determine which kind of road and railway routes are available, and players draw these on their erasable boards to creating transport lines and connecting exits.
The more exits you connect, the more points you score at the end of the game, but be sure to plan carefully, as you lose points for each incomplete route. Will you press your luck and try to stretch your transportation network to the next exit, or will you play it safe and start a new, simpler to manage route?
The Deep Blue Edition of Railroad Ink includes the Rivers and Lakes expansions. The River route can be used to increase the difficulty of the game, and lakes add ferries that you can connect to your network. These special rules spice up things and make each game play feel like a unique experience. Each box allows 1 to 6 players, and can be combined to play with more as the only limit to the number of players is the number of boards you have! Railroad Ink’s compact design also makes it a perfect travel game.
