Café Terms
Reservations
- Booking process: Customers can reserve a table at our café via goodtimegames.co.uk. For non-members, a deposit is required. The deposit is the greater of £5 or 25% of the total booking amount. Gameplay is charged at £3 per person, per hour, capped at £8 per person, excluding food, beverages and game purchases.
- Pricing information: The cost for playing games is detailed on our website and displayed within the café. This fee does not cover food or beverage purchases.
Booking Policies
- No outside food or drink: Bringing external food or drinks into the café is strictly prohibited to maintain hygiene and quality standards.
- Alcohol service: We adhere to licensing laws and reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any customer.
- Late arrivals: Tables may be reassigned if customers are over 10 minutes late without notice. We will attempt to contact late arrivals by phone; email notifications are not considered due to limited email monitoring during busy times.
- Rescheduling: Bookings can be rescheduled up to 3 times. Beyond this, the deposit is forfeited and the booking is cancelled.
- Large groups and multiple bookings: Large groups are not allowed to book multiple tables. We have a separate pricing structure for bookings of more than 8 guests through venue hire. Bookings made by a large group masquerading as multiple smaller groups may be cancelled and deposits may not be returned.
- Early departure: Customers leaving before their booked duration ends will be charged for the full reservation time.
- Cancellation policy: Customer cancellations can be made through the My Account page for future bookings. Online cancellation retains the deposit; rescheduling is offered as the alternative where available.
- No-show policy: In case of no-shows without prior notice, the deposit is forfeited.
- Changes in party size: Customers should update their guest count as soon as possible if the number of guests changes. If the actual number of guests is lower than booked and the booking has not been updated, we reserve the right to retain the deposit.
Conduct and Use of Facilities
- Game care and conduct: Customers must treat games and property with care. Damaging property may result in deposit forfeiture and additional charges. Respectful behaviour towards staff and guests is required at all times.
- Game library access: Reservations include access to our game library. We reserve the right to restrict certain games based on content suitability.
- Special events: Pricing and policies may vary for special events, which are typically ticketed. Details are provided on the event page.
- Accessibility: Due to the building’s structure, full accessibility cannot be guaranteed. Our café is on the ground floor, but has narrow doorways. We endeavour to accommodate special requirements where possible; please contact us in advance.
- Age restrictions: Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult after 12:30pm.
- Allergies: Our kitchen handles various allergens. We cannot assure complete absence of cross-contamination. Please consult our staff for allergen-related concerns.
Shop Terms
- Product availability: While we strive to maintain accurate stock levels, discrepancies may occur. If a purchased item is not in stock, we will inform the customer of the restock timeframe and offer a refund option.
- Payment: All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Payment must be completed at the time of purchase. Orders will not be shipped until full payment is received and confirmed.
- Shipping: We offer UK nationwide delivery and in-store collection. Shipping fees and times are specified at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within 3 days of payment confirmation, subject to stock availability.
- Returns and refunds: Unsealed games cannot be returned unless they contain missing or damaged components. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery, with evidence of the game’s condition before return. Returned games must be fully sealed and in their original condition.
- Warranty: Products sold through our online shop come with a manufacturer’s warranty. For warranty claims, contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- Customer support: For order, shipping or return enquiries, contact info@goodtimegames.co.uk. We aim to respond within 5 days.
- Product descriptions: We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and prices are accurate. If we discover an error in a product you ordered, we will inform you and give you the option of reconfirming or cancelling.
- Limitation of liability: Goodtime Games Limited shall not be liable for special or consequential damages that result from use of this site or the performance of products, except where the law requires otherwise.

- Memberships are intended for personal use and cannot be shared with others, including immediate family members.
- Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
2. Membership Benefits
- Members enjoy discounts on table bookings, select events, and money off food and drink for their group, up to 8 people per booking.
- Membership perks cannot be combined with other promotions unless specifically mentioned.
- We may occasionally update membership benefits. Significant changes will be communicated.
3. Membership Fees and Payment
- The annual membership fee is listed on our website and in-store. Subscription options may be available. Renewals may be eligible for a 15% discount.
- Payment is required in full at the time of purchase, either online or in person.
- Refunds are not typically available, except in cases of errors or fraudulent transactions.
4. Membership Use
- You must be able to present your membership confirmation, physical or digital, when redeeming benefits.
- Memberships are for individual use only, but members’ groups of up to 8 people can enjoy the food and drink discount when visiting with the member.
- If we notice misuse of benefits, we will discuss this with the member. Repeated misuse may result in suspension of benefits.
- Members are not required to pay a booking deposit. In return, members are expected to let us know if they can no longer attend a booking. Repeated no-shows may result in a warning and then cancellation.
5. Membership Cancellation
- You can cancel your membership at any time, but unused periods are not refundable.
- In rare cases, if a member behaves in a way that disrupts the community or our team, we may review or suspend the membership.
6. Fraud Prevention
- If a membership is purchased fraudulently, we will refund the transaction once verified and deactivate the associated membership.
- Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your membership details.
7. Updates to Guidelines
