Café Terms
Reservations
- Booking Process: Customers can reserve a table at our café via goodtimegames.co.uk. For non-members, a deposit of £1.50 per hour booked is required. Game play is charged per person, per hour, up to a maximum amount, (excluding food, beverages game purchases.)
- Pricing Information: The cost for playing games is detailed on our website and displayed within the café. This fee does not cover any food or beverage purchases.
Booking Policies
- No Outside Food or Drink: Bringing external food or drinks into the café is strictly prohibited to maintain hygiene and quality standards.
- Alcohol Service: We adhere to licensing laws and reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any customer.
- Late Arrivals: Tables may be reassigned if customers are over 10 minutes late without notice. We will attempt to contact late arrivals by phone; email notifications are not considered due to limited email monitoring during busy times.
- Rescheduling: Bookings can be rescheduled up to 3 times. Beyond this, the deposit is forfeited, and the booking is cancelled.
- Large Groups & Multiple Bookings: Large groups are not allowed to book multiple tables. We have a seperate pricing structure for bookings of more than 8 guests (venue hire). Any bookings made by a large group masquerading as multiple smaller groups will be cancelled and deposits not returned.
- Early Departure: Customers leaving before their booked duration ends will be charged for the full reservation time.
- Cancellation Policy: Online cancellations result in a forfeited deposit. Cancellations must be made up to 2 hours before the booking to retain the deposit, which requires rescheduling through the ‘My Account’ page.
- No-Show Policy: In case of no-shows without prior notice, the deposit is forfeited.
- Changes in Party Size: If the actual number of guests is less than booked, we reserve the right to keep the deposit.
Conduct and Use of Facilities
- Game Care and Conduct: Customers must treat games and property with care. Damaging property may result in deposit forfeiture and additional charges. Respectful behavior towards all staff and guests is required at all times.
- Game Library Access: Reservation includes access to our game library, with the right to restrict certain games based on content suitability.
- Special Events: Pricing and policies may vary for special events, which are typically ticketed. Details are provided on the event page.
- Accessibility: Due to the building’s structure, full accessibility can’t be guaranteed. Our café is on the ground floor, but with narrow doorways. We endeavor to accommodate special requirements where possible; please contact us in advance.
- Age Restrictions: Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult post-12:30pm.
- Allergies: Our kitchen handles various allergens. We cannot assure complete absence of cross-contamination. Please consult our staff for allergen-related concerns.
Shop Terms
- Product Availability: While we strive to maintain accurate stock levels on goodtimegames.co.uk, discrepancies may occur. In the event a purchased item is not in stock, we will inform the customer of the restock timeframe and offer a refund option.
- Payment: All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). We accept various forms of payment as specified on the website. Payment must be completed at the time of purchase. Your order will not be shipped until the full payment is received and confirmed.
- Shipping: We offer UK nationwide delivery and in-store collection for orders made through our online shop. Shipping fees and times are specified at checkout based on the delivery option selected. We aim to dispatch orders within 3 days of payment confirmation, subject to stock availability.
- Returns and Refunds: Unsealed games cannot be returned unless they contain missing or damaged components. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery, with evidence of the game’s condition prior to return. Returned games must be fully sealed and in the original condition. If items are not in their original condition or have been damaged during transit, a full refund may not be issued.
- Warranty: Products sold through our online shop come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Details of the warranty period and services are provided with the product. For warranty claims, please contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- Customer Support: For any inquiries or issues related to online purchases, including order status, shipping, or returns, please contact our customer support team at info@goodtimegames.co.uk. We aim to respond to all queries within 5 days.
- Product Descriptions: We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and prices are accurate. However, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order with the correct details or cancelling it.
- Limitation of Liability: Goodtime Games Limited shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Goodtime Games Limited has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

- Accuracy of Information: Our online games library page is intended as a reference tool and may not always reflect our current selection. It is not considered advertising material. Membership Terms
By purchasing a membership, you’re agreeing to the following T&C’s as well as some community guidelines that we hope are pretty self-explanatory:
Membership Overview
1.1 The Goodtime Games Membership unlocks exclusive perks such as discounts on table bookings, access to special events, and more. Full details can be found on our website.
1.2 Memberships are intended for personal use and cannot be shared with others, including immediate family members.
1.3 Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Membership Benefits
2.1 Members enjoy discounts on table bookings, select events, and money off food and drink for their entire group (up to 8 people per booking, the maximum booking size).
2.2 Membership perks cannot be combined with other promotions unless specifically mentioned.
2.3 We may occasionally update membership benefits to add more value. If there are any significant changes, we’ll let you know!
Membership Fees and Payment
3.1 The annual membership fee is listed on our website and in-store. You can subscribe so it doesn’t lapse. If you’re renewing, there’s a 15% discount.
3.2 Payment is required in full at the time of purchase, either online or in person.
3.3 Refunds are not typically available, except in cases of errors or fraudulent transactions.
Membership Use
4.1 You must be able to present your membership confirmation (physical or digital) when redeeming benefits.
4.2 Memberships are for individual use only, but members’ groups (up to 8 people) can enjoy the 10% food and drink discount when visiting with the member.
4.3 If we notice misuse of benefits, we’ll have a friendly chat to sort things out. Repeated misuse may result in a suspension of benefits.
4.4 To make booking quicker and easier for members, we removed the requirement to pay a deposit. In turn, we expect our members to let us know if they can no longer make it to a booking with us. Repeated no-shows will result in a warning and then a cancellation.
Membership Cancellation
5.1 You can cancel your membership anytime but we can’t refund unused periods.
5.2 In rare cases, if a member behaves in a way that disrupts the community or our team, we may need to review or suspend the membership.
Fraud Prevention
6.1 If a membership is purchased fraudulently, we’ll refund the transaction once verified and deactivate the associated membership.
6.2 Please contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your membership details.
Updates to Guidelines
7.1 We may adjust these guidelines occasionally to better serve our members. Any significant changes will be shared with you directly.
Community Responsibility
8.1 We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. Please treat other members, staff, and the space with respect.
8.2 Except for when the law requires it, we’re not liable for personal items left behind or accidents, but we’ll always do our best to assist you.
